K-pop sensation TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has once again demonstrated their immense popularity, securing multiple spots within the Top 10 of Japan’s prestigious Oricon Mid-Year Rankings.
According to the ‘Oricon First Half Ranking 2026’ (charting period: December 8, 2025, to June 7, 2026), released on June 25, TXT’s 8th mini-album, ‘7TH YEAR: When the Wind Briefly Paused in the Thicket,’ achieved remarkable success. The album ranked 7th on the ‘Album Ranking’ and 9th on the ‘Combined Album Ranking,’ solidifying their strong presence in the Japanese music market.
Upon its initial release, this groundbreaking album topped the Oricon Weekly Combined Album Ranking (dated April 27, covering April 13-19). This marked their 14th career No. 1 on the chart, tying the record for the most No. 1s achieved by any Japanese or international artist in Oricon’s history, a testament to their consistent global appeal.
Beyond their chart-topping success, TOMORROW X TOGETHER also successfully concluded their special concert series in Japan, held to commemorate their 7th debut anniversary. The ‘2026 TXT MOA CON IN JAPAN’ tour, which spanned four cities and wrapped up in Hyogo on June 23-24, was a resounding success. All eight performances sold out rapidly, highlighting the group’s powerful live appeal and dedicated fanbase.
Fans can look forward to more from TXT as members Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai are scheduled to appear on Japan’s Nippon TV program ‘THE MUSIC DAY 2026’ on July 4. The trio will deliver a special cover performance of ‘Lemon,’ a beloved hit song by acclaimed Japanese singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu, promising an unforgettable musical moment.
