Hybe India Opens Auditions to Discover and Train Local Talent for Global Stage
Hybe, the entertainment powerhouse behind global sensations, is launching its first-ever Indian girl group! Hybe India is ramping up its efforts to discover and develop exceptional talent within the country.
Announced via official social media channels on Tuesday, Hybe India is seeking young, aspiring female talents with potential in vocals, rap, dance, acting, and modeling. The ultimate goal is to create a global girl group that originates from India and expands to capture the international spotlight.
The auditions are open to applicants born between 2005 and 2011, with submissions accepted until July 31st. Don’t miss your chance to become the next global superstar!
Lee Woo-chang, CEO of Hybe India, emphasized the importance of this initiative in addressing a critical gap within the Indian entertainment industry.
“India boasts a wealth of talented and passionate individuals, but lacks a streamlined pathway to reach the global stage,” stated Lee Woo-chang on Tuesday. “Hybe India has meticulously crafted a systematic training and development program specifically tailored to the Indian market. This audition serves as a pivotal starting point, offering unparalleled opportunities for aspiring young talent.”
Just last week, Hybe India unveiled its plans to conduct both online and in-person auditions across major Indian cities. Keep an eye out for auditions in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune!
Hybe India’s establishment in June of last year forms part of Chair Bang Si-hyuk’s ambitious “multihome, multigenre” strategy. This vision aims to localize the renowned K-pop production system within key global markets, bringing the Hybe magic to India.
