Sandara Park, a member of the K-pop girl group 2NE1, has cautiously responded to drug-related allegations made by her fellow bandmate, Park Bom, stating that they are untrue.
A representative for Sandara Park told Star News on March 3rd, “(Park Bom’s) claims about drugs are completely false.”
The representative also added, “On the contrary, Sandara Park is currently concerned about Park Bom’s health.”
Currently, Sandara Park is not affiliated with YG Entertainment or Abyss Company and continues her activities with only a field manager. It is said that Sandara Park has been careful not to react unnecessarily to Park Bom’s sudden claims, sticking to factual answers and avoiding further comment.

In a lengthy handwritten letter on March 3rd, Park Bom stated, “I’m being cautious because it might cause another uproar, but what was controversial in the past was not drugs.” She mentioned the amphetamine-based drug ‘Adderall.’ Park Bom revealed that she has ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and targeted 2NE1 member Sandara Park. Park Bom claimed, “Park Sandara got caught with drugs, and to cover it up, they made me out to be a drug addict. At the time, Adderall itself didn’t exist in the country, and there was no law, but strangely, after me, a law was created.”
In particular, Park Bom made outlandish claims directed towards her former agency, YG Entertainment, as well as Yang Hyun-suk, Teddy, and CL, saying, “Please don’t report to the country that ‘Park Bom used more than the prescribed amount’ of drugs that I haven’t used for almost 30 years.” She concluded her letter by stating, “I’m writing this because it feels like my soul is crying.”
In addition, Park Bom posted an accusatory message towards Yang Hyun-suk, the chief producer of YG Entertainment, in October of last year, stating that she had not received settlement for her 2NE1 activities. At the time, her agency, D-Nation Entertainment, released an official statement saying, “The settlement related to Park Bom’s 2NE1 activities has already been completed, and there is no record of the lawsuit posted on SNS being filed.” They also stated, “Park Bom has stopped all activities and is focusing on treatment and recovery.”
Following this, fans are flocking to Sandara Park’s SNS. The first post on Sandara Park’s SNS is a poster for the 2024 2NE1 concert. Comments demanding clarification are flooding the post, such as “Did you do drugs?”, “Unnie, the medicine?”, and “Something big happened. What happened?”
