BTS member Jungkook continues his impressive long-term success on Spotify. His first solo debut song ‘Seven’ and first solo album ‘GOLDEN,’ both released in 2023, are setting new records on the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify.
‘Seven’ ranked 84th on Spotify’s main chart, ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ (for May 8-14). The track climbed 14 spots from the previous week. Furthermore, it marks its 148th consecutive week on the chart, making it the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist in history.
‘GOLDEN’ secured the 102nd position on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Album Global’ chart for May 8-14. The album also rose 7 spots. It has charted for an unprecedented 132 consecutive weeks, marking it as the first and longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist.

Recently, ‘GOLDEN’ surpassed 7.1 billion cumulative streams on Spotify, making it the most streamed studio album by an Asian artist. ‘Seven’ achieved 2.94 billion cumulative streams, marking it as the first song by an Asian artist and the first 2023 release to reach this milestone.
As of May 22, ‘Seven’ is ranked as the 63rd most streamed song of all time on Spotify. Both ‘Seven’ and ‘GOLDEN’ debuted at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Global’ chart. Jungkook’s personal Spotify profile, encompassing all his credited works, has surpassed 10.9 billion cumulative streams, achieving this in the shortest time for an Asian artist and making him the first K-pop solo artist to do so.
