Global music sensation BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) continues to showcase their immense global popularity, marking their 12th consecutive week on the prestigious U.S. Billboard main charts with their hit track ‘SWIM.’ According to the latest Billboard charts, published on June 16th (for the week of June 20th), ‘SWIM,’ the title track from their 5th studio album ‘Arirang,’ secured the No. 43 spot on the ‘Hot 100.’ The album ‘Arirang’ also climbed to an impressive No. 11 on the ‘Billboard 200’ chart.
‘SWIM’ further dominated the ‘Global (Excl. US)’ chart, fluctuating between No. 1 and No. 2 for 12 weeks. On the June 6th chart, the song achieved its 8th cumulative week at No. 1, setting a new record for the most weeks at the top for any song released in 2026. This achievement also ties with BTS’s own “Dynamite” for the longest-reigning No. 1 track in Billboard chart history. All 13 tracks from the ‘Arirang’ album also maintained their chart presence for 12 consecutive weeks. Beyond the main charts, ‘Arirang’ notably ranked No. 7 on ‘Top Album Sales,’ No. 22 on ‘Top Streaming Albums,’ and No. 16 on ‘Vinyl Albums,’ demonstrating its diverse appeal across formats.
Remarkably, BTS boasts three albums concurrently charting on the ‘World Albums’ chart. Their 2022 anthology album ‘Proof’ held strong at No. 8, marking an astonishing 209 weeks on the chart. Their 4th Japanese studio album, ‘MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 ~ THE JOURNEY ~,’ secured the No. 17 spot, while their 3rd studio album, ‘LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear,” placed at No. 25, underscoring the enduring appeal of their extensive discography.
Adding to their recent triumphs, BTS’s new single, ‘Come Over,’ released on June 12th, immediately captured fan hearts, topping Billboard’s weekly new song popularity poll with an overwhelming 86% of the votes. The track also made a strong debut on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart, entering at No. 11 on June 12th and holding a position at No. 22 by June 15th, indicating significant global streaming interest.
Looking ahead, BTS is set to make history as the headliner for the 2026 FIFA North America World Cup™ final halftime show, scheduled for July 19th. Their selection comes with massive fan support, as evidenced by a Billboard poll where they garnered over 8 million votes and more than 50% of the total, earning them the title of ‘Most Anticipated Performing Artist at the 2026 FIFA World Cup’ among fans.
