Following the MV teaser’s release, the UK media outlet IBTimes compiled fan reactions, sharing comments such as, “Isn’t this MV a comedy satire? I’m going to burst with laughter!”, “This reminds me of an old sketch where V found other members in the bathroom and reacted hilariously. The “Bathroom Cinematic Universe” title was humorously coined by fans, combining a past BTS variety show sketch where V had an explosive reaction to discovering other members in the bathroom, the provocative urinal photo from the recent tabloid ad, and the bathroom scene in the MV teaser, signifying the completion of “BTS’s unique bathroom worldview.”

BTS updated their official SNS profiles to ‘LAMRON’ on July 9th, and ‘LAMRON’ also appeared alongside a swan motif in the teal-toned film reel collage teaser image, fueling extensive fan speculation about hidden meanings and theories within the music video.
