May 2026 Singer Brand Reputation Rankings
The global phenomenon BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) once again asserted their unrivaled presence by securing the top spot in the May 2026 Singer Brand Reputation rankings.
According to the big data analysis for the May 2026 Singer Brand Reputation, BTS ranked first, followed by Lim Young-woong in second place, and Cortis in third.
The Korea Reputation Research Institute analyzed 95,308,896 pieces of singer brand big data from April 23, 2026, to May 23, 2026. This figure represents a 22.32% decrease compared to the 122,699,048 pieces analyzed in April.
The BTS brand, comprising members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, achieved a brand reputation index of 7,132,535. This was calculated from a participation index of 269,026, a media index of 613,756, a communication index of 2,556,765, and a community index of 3,692,989. This score shows a 23.00% decline compared to their April index of 9,262,989.
Lim Young-woong’s brand secured second place with a brand reputation index of 4,918,515. The Cortis brand, featuring members Martin, James, Joohoon, Sunghyun, and Gunho, ranked third with an index of 4,313,084.



Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Reputation Research Institute, commented on the May 2026 Singer Brand Reputation big data analysis: “The BTS brand (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) achieved the top position. Analyzing the overall singer brand category, we observed a 22.32% decrease in big data compared to the 122,699,048 pieces analyzed in April. A detailed breakdown shows a 9.62% drop in brand consumption, a 32.91% drop in brand issues, a 20.34% drop in brand communication, and a 19.91% drop in brand spread.”
He continued, “The BTS brand, actively engaging with ARMYs worldwide through their global tour, secured first place. Lim Young-woong’s brand, consistently creating new records with his ‘Heroic Era’ fandom, ranked second. The Cortis brand, generating significant buzz in the global music market, landed in third. Singer-songwriter Hanroro’s brand, recognized for her prolific work, took fourth, and IVE’s brand, steadily growing its appeal with a confident image, claimed fifth place.”
