According to a chart preview article released by Billboard on its official website on the 26th (local time), BTS’s 5th full-length album, ‘ARIRANG’, secured the No. 4 spot on the prestigious Billboard 200 main album chart for the chart dated May 2.
Billboard reported that ‘ARIRANG’ achieved an impressive 62,000 album units this week. This figure is a comprehensive tally, encompassing traditional album sales (both physical and digital), Stream-Equivalent Album (SEA) units, and Track-Equivalent Album (TEA) units, showcasing the album’s broad appeal.
Maintaining its high position on the Billboard charts for five consecutive weeks, ‘ARIRANG’ undeniably proves its widespread popularity and enduring appeal. The album continues to resonate with an ever-broadening audience, solidifying its presence in the Top 5 and hinting at long-term commercial success for the K-Pop superstars.
Beyond their chart dominance, BTS also ignited the highly anticipated ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN NORTH AMERICA’ on the 25th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, USA. This extensive North American leg of the tour will span 31 electrifying performances across 12 major cities, including fan-favorite stops like Mexico City, Las Vegas, and Chicago, promising unforgettable experiences for ARMYs.
