Released in November 2023, ‘GOLDEN’ reached this incredible milestone faster than any other full-length album by an Asian artist. It also stands as the first and only album by an Asian solo artist to reach 6.8 billion streams.

Industry experts predict ‘GOLDEN’ will surpass 7 billion streams within the year, fueled by its unwavering global popularity. Recently, ‘GOLDEN’ was recognized as one of the “Top 20 Albums with the Most Powerful Hits of the 2020s,” ranking 20th and notably being the only K-pop solo album to make the list. On Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Albums Global’ chart, ‘GOLDEN’ continues its impressive run, marking 123 weeks – the longest and first for any album by an Asian solo artist. Additionally, it charted for 8 weeks on the UK Official ‘Top 100’ chart, a first for any K-pop solo artist. Across Jungkook’s personal Spotify account, based on total credits, he has surpassed 10.5 billion streams, a record as the fastest Asian artist and first K-pop solo artist to achieve this milestone.
