BTS’s Jungkook captivated German fans at his Munich World Tour concert.
Jungkook recently performed the local hit song ‘Gut Genug’ for two consecutive days at his World Tour concert held at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.
Following the first day, Jungkook also delivered a live rendition of ‘Gut Genug’ (Du Bist Gut Genug, “You Are Good Enough”) by the three-member producer group ‘KitschKrieg’ on the second day (Day 2) of the concert. This song gained widespread popularity on German social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Previously, Jungkook had shared his concept of incorporating local songs into his performances during a personal live broadcast, stating, “When I’m on an overseas tour, how about singing the most popular song from that country or region as an encore during my closing remarks?” This idea was brought to life at the Munich concert, continuing from the first day to the second.
During the Day 2 performance, as Jungkook began the first verse, the audience was seen singing along to the German lyrics. On stage, Jungkook greeted his fans, saying, “ARMY, you are wonderful enough~”.
Immediately after the concert, related videos quickly spread across TikTok and YouTube Shorts. KitschKrieg, the original artist, also consistently shared videos of Jungkook’s concert on their official TikTok and Instagram Stories. Fans both domestically and internationally praised Jungkook for performing a local song for two consecutive days, his German pronunciation, and the thoughtful stage setup designed for local fans.
Previously, Jungkook had performed ‘I Wait,’ the OST from the Taiwanese youth romance film ‘Hello, My Girl,’ at a concert in Taiwan, and ‘Lemon,’ the OST from the Japanese drama ‘Unnatural,’ at a concert in Japan for his local fans.
