**KARD**, the pioneering mixed-gender K-pop group, is officially set to disband after a successful nine-year journey. DSP Media announced on Monday that the quartet will conclude its activities following the release of their highly anticipated first full-length album and a final farewell world tour.

The agency confirmed that the decision was reached through a mutual agreement amongst all members and the company.

“After careful discussions with all four members, we have agreed to bring KARD’s journey to a close following these promotions,” DSP Media stated, expressing gratitude for the group’s dedication.

DSP Media also extended heartfelt thanks to KARD’s dedicated fandom, Hidden KARD, for their unwavering support throughout the years. The agency requested fans continue to cheer on the members as they embark on new chapters in their individual careers.

Fans can anticipate KARD’s first studio album, titled “Where To Now? (Part.2): Nowhere,” releasing on July 28. This will precede their ultimate global journey, the final world tour, commencing next month.

This upcoming album marks the conclusion of the “Where To Now?” series, building upon their seventh EP, “Where To Now? (Part.1: Yellow Light),” which was released in August 2024. While the initial installment explored the group’s future direction, this new release is described as the culmination of that path, revealing profound truths discovered through their unique music and captivating performances.

The mixed-gender K-pop act will kick off its “Now Here” world tour with an exclusive concert in Seoul on August 8. This tour promises to expand on the album’s narrative, offering Hidden KARD one final, unforgettable opportunity to experience KARD performing together live.

Debuting in 2017, KARD swiftly carved out a unique and esteemed position in the modern K-pop landscape as one of the industry’s very few active coed idol groups. The quartet garnered significant international acclaim for their distinctive blend of moombahton, Latin pop, and dance music, cultivating a particularly robust global following across Latin America, Brazil, and North America through numerous successful world tours.
