Ateez member San’s electrifying performance of “Bad” has taken the internet by storm following the K-pop group’s appearance on a TV music program last month.
K-pop sensation Ateez has been actively performing “Bad,” the dynamic title track from their latest mini-album, “Golden Hour: Part.5,” across various Korean music shows.
On SBS’ popular music program “Inkigayo,” which aired on June 28, San, known as Ateez’s main dancer and lead vocalist, captivated audiences when he took the stage wearing a striking white tank top. During the intricate dance break in the latter half of the song, San commanded attention by stepping towards the stage center, lowering one hand, and powerfully popping his chest to the beat. This iconic moment, combined with his intense facial expressions and piercing gaze, instantly captivated viewers and rapidly went viral across social media platforms.
The compelling choreography for “Bad” was a collaborative effort, created by San himself in partnership with Ateez’s talented performance crew, Bbtrippin, and renowned choreographer Leejung. Leejung is widely recognized for her previous work on hits like “Fancy” by Twice and “Soda Pop” by KPop Demon Hunters, among others.
Following the performance’s undeniable viral success, “Bad” swiftly entered Melon’s Top 100 chart, while Ateez’s mini-album, “Golden Hour: Part.5,” soared to No. 1 on the prestigious Billboard 200, showcasing the group’s global impact.
