K-Pop sensation Katseye continues to make history, extending its remarkable run on the Billboard 200 for an astonishing 53rd consecutive week with their acclaimed second EP, “Beautiful Chaos.”
This monumental achievement marks Katseye as the first female group in 21 years to spend a full year on Billboard’s main albums chart, a feat last accomplished by The Pussycat Dolls with their debut studio album, “PCD.”
“Beautiful Chaos” made an impressive debut, entering the chart at No. 4, and has since captivated audiences worldwide, accumulating over 32 million monthly listeners on Spotify – solidifying its position as the most-streamed girl group globally. The EP’s vibrant main track, “Gnarly,” shattered expectations by becoming the group’s first entry on the coveted Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at No. 82. This success was quickly followed by the compelling B-side track, “Gabriela,” which also soared, reaching an impressive No. 21.
Looking ahead, Katseye is gearing up to release their highly anticipated third EP, “Wild,” on August 14th. However, fans note that the upcoming release is expected to feature only five members, as Manon has been on hiatus since February, citing health reasons.
