Global pop sensation Khalid is set to reunite with his Korean fans after an 8-year hiatus for an eagerly anticipated solo concert.

Khalid’s Seoul concert will be held on December 5th at 7 PM at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2, Hall 10. General sale tickets for this highly anticipated event will be available for purchase starting on the 16th via the official ticketing platform, NOL. An exclusive artist presale will take place from 12 PM to 3 PM on the 13th.

Khalid first captivated his Korean fanbase during his inaugural visit in 2018. A subsequent concert scheduled for 2020 was unfortunately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving many fans disappointed and longing for his return.

This upcoming visit to Korea is part of his “It’s Always Summer Somewhere” world tour, which successfully kicked off in Las Vegas, USA, in May. It marks his first solo performance in Korea in 8 years since his debut visit. Fans can anticipate a rich and diverse setlist, encompassing both his signature hit songs and tracks from his latest albums, all delivered with his renowned high-quality live vocals.

Born in El Paso, Texas, USA, in 1998, Khalid began honing his craft by writing and producing music during his high school years, initially gaining recognition by sharing his early works on SoundCloud. His career soared with the release of his debut single “Location” in 2016, just before his high school graduation, which achieved explosive popularity and instantly drew global music industry attention. Following this success, “Young Dumb & Broke” also climbed high on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. His critically acclaimed first studio album, [American Teen] (2017), reached an impressive number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. At the 60th Grammy Awards, Khalid was a prominent nominee in five categories, including ‘Best New Artist’ and ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album,’ marking significant achievements early in his burgeoning career.

In 2018, the track “Better” from his EP [Suncity] enjoyed sustained popularity, climbing to number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in its 30th week, becoming Khalid’s first solo Top 10 single. His second studio album, [Free Spirit] (2019), debuted triumphantly at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Its lead single, “Talk,” not only reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 but was also nominated for the prestigious ‘Record of the Year’ at the 62nd Grammy Awards. That same year, Khalid made chart history by simultaneously placing five songs—”Better,” “Talk,” “My Bad,” “Saturday Nights,” and “Outta My Head (with John Mayer)”—in the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart, a unique and unprecedented achievement.

Following his third album, [Sincere] (2024), which captivated fans with its sophisticated R&B sound and distinctive vocals, his fourth album, [after the sun goes down] (2025), was widely praised for opening a new chapter in Khalid’s musical journey. This album brilliantly blended R&B foundations with vibrant electro-pop and nostalgic 1980s synth-pop sounds. To date, he has received a total of 7 Grammy Award nominations and earned numerous accolades at prestigious music ceremonies, including 6 Billboard Music Awards and 4 American Music Awards. In 2019, he was honored as one of Time’s ‘100 Most Influential People,’ and in 2020, he made history as the youngest artist to surpass 15 billion cumulative streams on Spotify. Furthermore, at the 2025 Billboard Live Music Summit, he was presented with the ‘Disruptor’ award, recognizing artists who bravely break conventional boundaries and forge new trends in the industry.

Khalid has delivered numerous global hit collaborations, including his feature on Billie Eilish’s “Lovely,” “Eastside” with Benny Blanco and Halsey, and Logic’s “1-800-273-8255” with Alessia Cara. He has also garnered widespread admiration for his collaborative efforts with a diverse array of artists spanning various genres and generations, such as Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Imagine Dragons, Shawn Mendes, and Marshmello. Additionally, his track “Love Lies” with Normani for the movie ‘Love, Simon’ OST soared to the number 1 spot on the Billboard Pop Airplay chart. He also contributed “The Ways” to the ‘Black Panther’ OST and “Silver Platter” to the ‘Barbie’ OST. Most recently, he generated significant buzz with his global single “Something Special,” a highly anticipated collaboration with acclaimed actor Ahn Hyo-seop.
