TVXQ’s U-Know has officially announced a change of venue for his highly anticipated solo concert in Seoul. His upcoming solo show will now take place at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in southern Seoul, following difficulties accessing the originally planned location. The news was confirmed by his agency, SM Entertainment, on Tuesday.
Initially, U-Know was scheduled to launch his ‘U-Know Project 26: Scene #1’ solo tour with three dynamic performances at the Ticketlink Live Arena in Seoul from July 17 to 19. However, the Ticketlink Live Arena, also historically known as the Olympic Handball Gymnasium, has been occupied by protesters since serving as a vote-counting site during the June 3 local elections. These protests, centered on allegations of ballot paper shortages and demands for a reelection, have rendered the venue inaccessible for the upcoming concerts.
SM Entertainment confirmed that seats for existing ticket holders will be reallocated according to the original arrangements at the new Jamsil Indoor Stadium. For fans who may be dissatisfied with either the venue change or their new seating assignments, a full refund option is available through the management company.
Following these highly anticipated Seoul concerts, U-Know’s solo tour is set to expand internationally, visiting five major cities across Southeast Asia. Further global tour stops are expected to be announced in the near future, building excitement among his fanbase worldwide.
