Rising K-pop sensation Cortis has achieved a remarkable milestone, with the music video for their track “Acai” garnering over 10 million views on YouTube as of Wednesday. The impressive feat was confirmed by their label, Big Hit Music.
This rapid success saw the ‘Acai’ music video reach the 10-million mark in just one month. It stands as the second music video released from the K-pop boy group’s highly anticipated second EP, “Greengreen,” following their impactful main track “Redred.”
“Acai,” a beloved B-side from the ‘Greengreen’ EP, showcases the collective talent of Cortis members. All members actively participated in the songwriting process, drawing inspiration from one of their favorite foods. Their creative involvement extended to conceptualizing and developing the compelling storyboard for the music video.
Looking ahead, the dynamic rookie boy group is gearing up to kick off their inaugural international tour, aptly titled “Put Down Your Phone,” in July. Demonstrating their global appeal, all six initial North American dates for the tour quickly sold out. In response to overwhelming demand, Big Hit Music announced on Thursday that an additional show has been added for San Francisco, further extending their highly anticipated tour.
