Global K-pop sensation BTS is set to embark on an exciting citywide collaboration with Busan, celebrating their highly anticipated debut anniversary. Big Hit Music, the group’s label, officially announced the ambitious project on Monday, promising a unique experience for ARMYs worldwide.
Titled “BTS The City Arirang – Busan,” this immersive event will transform the entire city into a vibrant festival zone dedicated to fans. Visitors can look forward to a diverse range of experiences, including special welcoming booths, exclusive BTS-themed buses, and curated tourist courses guiding them through iconic Busan spots. Adding to the excitement, a dedicated pop-up store will open at the city’s train station, while beloved major landmarks across Busan will be illuminated and adorned with heartfelt messages from the BTS members themselves.
A spectacular highlight of the celebration will coincide with BTS’ concerts in Busan, scheduled for June 12-13. Fans will witness an breathtaking light show on Gwangalli Beach, featuring an impressive display of over 1000 drones, promising an unforgettable evening.
Meanwhile, the global phenomenon continues its highly successful “Arirang” tour, currently in the midst of its thrilling US leg. The supergroup is set to perform the last of three shows in Stanford, California, on Tuesday, marking their second-to-last stop before continuing their global journey.
