Global K-pop sensation BTS is once again partnering with the vibrant city of Las Vegas, launching an unprecedented citywide immersive experience directly tied to the group’s highly anticipated “Arirang” world tour.
On Thursday, BTS unveiled exciting new details for the spectacular “BTS The City Arirang — Las Vegas” event, shared via Hybe’s widely used global fan platform, Weverse. This ambitious project officially launches “Global The City 2.0,” a significantly expanded evolution of the group’s groundbreaking urban collaboration campaign that seamlessly integrates concert experiences with city-wide fan engagement across major global destinations.
In a major collaboration with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the entire city will embrace a vibrant red illumination concept, directly inspired by the striking key color of BTS’s latest, critically acclaimed album, “Arirang.” This grand campaign is poised to be significantly more expansive than the group’s successful 2022 Las Vegas project, boasting enhanced infrastructure and unprecedented citywide participation to truly captivate visitors and local residents.
Throughout the designated project period, the iconic Sphere, recognized globally as the world’s largest spherical entertainment venue, will proudly showcase breathtaking “Arirang” and exclusive BTS-themed visuals across its magnificent exterior LED surface, creating an unforgettable spectacle for all.
Further enhancing the fan experience, the world-famous Las Vegas Strip will be transformed with an extensive outdoor advertising takeover, prominently featuring warm welcome messages specially curated for BTS. In a spectacular display, major digital billboards positioned strategically throughout the entertainment district will proudly display exclusive BTS content nightly from 11 p.m. to midnight on all concert days, ensuring maximum visibility for attending fans.
Mark your calendars! On May 23, 24, 27, and 28, coinciding with the highly anticipated BTS Las Vegas concerts, a constellation of renowned landmarks will dramatically light up in brilliant red. This includes iconic attractions such as the High Roller, the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas, and the stunning Las Vegas Gateway Arches.
