Global K-pop sensation BTS continues its impressive run on the Billboard 200, securing the No. 5 spot on the chart dated May 9, marking their sixth consecutive week. This achievement was revealed in the chart’s ranking preview on Sunday in the US.
The group’s critically acclaimed fifth studio album, “Arirang,” saw a slight shift from its previous week’s position. However, this follows an unprecedented three-week reign at the summit of the main albums chart, setting a historic new record for any K-pop act.
Beyond Billboard, “Arirang” is also dominating Spotify, celebrating its sixth week on the Weekly Top Albums Global chart at No. 2. Furthermore, all 14 tracks from the album have impressively landed on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart, with the lead single “Swim” independently claiming the No. 2 position.
Connecting with their global fanbase, BTS recently captivated audiences with their ‘Arirang’ tour in Texas, US, over the weekend. The group is now set to bring their electrifying performances to Mexico City for a highly anticipated three-date engagement, commencing this Thursday.
