K-pop sensation Nmixx is poised for a grand return with their highly anticipated fifth EP, “Heavy Serenade,” scheduled for release on May 11. This exciting comeback marks the girl group’s first new music in approximately seven months, building anticipation among fans globally.
JYP Entertainment, Nmixx’s agency, officially unveiled a detailed promotional scheduler on Monday, outlining a comprehensive series of captivating teaser content leading up to the EP’s full release.
The promotional journey for “Heavy Serenade” will commence with an electrifying album trailer on April 21, followed by the reveal of the full tracklist and an intriguing motion poster on April 22. Fans can then look forward to stunning promotional photos dropping on April 24 and 25, alongside the launch of a special promotional website on April 26. Further exclusive content, including highlight medleys and innovative three-dimensional album previews, is slated for unveiling in early May.
Adding to the excitement, Nmixx will treat fans to an early release of the music video for their compelling side track, “Crescendo,” on April 28, offering a tantalizing preview of their new sound before the official comeback.
On May 11, the day “Heavy Serenade” officially drops, JYP Entertainment confirmed that Nmixx will host a special live broadcast, counting down to the release with their dedicated fanbase at 4:40 p.m. KST. This will precede the full unveiling of the album and its lead single music video later that evening.
This upcoming EP follows a year of significant milestones for the dynamic K-pop act. Their debut LP, “Blue Valentine,” released in October 2025, achieved remarkable success, topping major Korean streaming charts including Melon’s Top 100, and earning multiple coveted domestic music show victories.
Nmixx also significantly expanded their global footprint through their inaugural world tour. Kicking off in Incheon in November, the tour captivated audiences across Europe and North America. Since then, the group has graced major international stages, performing at prestigious festivals in Brazil and Chile, notably becoming the first K-pop act to perform at such prominent events in both countries.
Ahead of their May comeback, Nmixx is scheduled to perform “Superior,” a B-side track from the upcoming “Heavy Serenade” album, for the very first time. This special premiere will take place at the “Eve Festa” event on April 24, held as a key part of the “LCK Team Roadshow: T1 Home Ground”—a thrilling three-day esports spectacle featuring League of Legends matches and unique fan engagement programs centered around the renowned T1 team.
