“I almost passed out last night, and when I woke up at 3 a.m., it was blowing up,” said RM, expressing his disbelief and joy. “It’s all thanks to our fans.”
The seven members convened to celebrate with their fans the monumental achievement of “Swim,” the lead single from their highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Arirang,” dominating the Hot 100 upon its release. An impressive thirteen tracks from the 14-song album also landed on the main singles chart, further solidifying their global impact. The album, “Arirang,” also seized the top position on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
“I am happy that our first endeavor since we were discharged from the military is doing so well,” added Jin, highlighting the significance of their comeback success.
The septet further delighted fans by revealing that a hidden track will be exclusively included in the deluxe vinyl edition of “Arirang,” scheduled for release on Friday. This exclusive content promises to be a special treat for dedicated collectors.
“Suga was quite disappointed that it didn’t make the album, and it finally gets to be unveiled,” the group shared, teasing the unreleased song and underlining that it is “really special.” This added layer of exclusivity is sure to excite fans and further boost demand for the vinyl edition.
