Global superstars BTS are preparing for a spectacular outdoor concert, “BTS the Comeback Live — Arirang,” on March 21st, to celebrate the release of their highly anticipated fifth album, “Arirang.” Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul is set to transform into a vibrant festival ground for this momentous event.
The concert will be held at Yukjo Yard, located just north of the iconic Gwanghwamun Square. Fans around the world can witness the seven members of BTS making their grand entrance through the historic gates of Geunjeongmun, Heungnyemun, and Gwanghwamun. Their procession will take them past the Woldae royal viewing platform, offering a visually stunning experience that will be streamed live to viewers in over 190 territories via Netflix.
This extraordinary performance will feature a collaboration of 87 talented professionals, including a dynamic ensemble of 50 dancers and 13 traditional Korean musicians. The event will be directed by the renowned Hamish Hamilton, celebrated for his work on high-profile events like Super Bowl halftime shows. In a groundbreaking move, the exterior walls of Gwanghwamun and Sungnyemun will be utilized as impressive media facades, showcasing captivating videos that highlight Korea’s rich traditional culture.
