fromis_9 Japan Debut

Girl group fromis_9 is set to conquer Japan, officially debuting with their first EP in the country on April 1st, ASND Entertainment announced Wednesday. This marks a significant step in their international career.

The five-member act will make their official Japan debut with the EP titled “Like You Better (Japanese Ver.).” This exciting new release will feature a total of six tracks, including a brand-new single called “Sky Runner,” alongside Japanese-language versions of their popular songs “Like You Better” and “Love=Disaster.” Instrumental versions of all three tracks will also be included, offering a diverse listening experience.

“Like You Better,” previously the lead single from their sixth EP, “From Our 20’s,” which also featured “Love=Disaster,” has already seen significant success. The main track even earned fromis_9 their first coveted first-place win on a prominent TV music chart show last year, solidifying their rising popularity.

Ahead of the EP release, fromis_9 will meet their dedicated Japanese fans in Tokyo on February 28th for a special live show. This performance will serve as an encore gig to their international tour, “Now Tomorrow,” giving fans another chance to see them live. The girl group previously performed three encore concerts in Seoul, culminating in a final show on February 1st. Fans can expect to hear new material and classic hits from fromis_9 as they embark on this exciting new chapter in their career.
