Yeonjun, a prominent member of the K-Pop group Tomorrow X Together (TXT), has achieved a significant new career high with his latest solo release.
According to Hanteo Chart, a leading record sales tracking site, Yeonjun’s 2nd mini-album, ‘NO LABELS: PART 02,’ recorded an impressive 661,924 copies sold on its release day, July 10th. This remarkable feat propelled the album to the #1 spot on the daily album chart for July 10th.
Within just one day of its release, ‘NO LABELS: PART 02’ dramatically surpassed the first-week sales (chudong) of its predecessor, ‘NO LABELS: PART 01,’ which tallied 601,105 copies. This achievement also marks the highest first-day sales for any Korean solo artist’s album released this year.
The new solo album further solidified Yeonjun’s global presence in the music market. As of 10 AM KST on the same day, ‘NO LABELS: PART 02’ claimed the top position on the iTunes ‘Top Albums’ chart in 11 countries and regions, including Japan, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia. It also secured the 5th spot on the ‘Worldwide iTunes Album Chart’ and 10th on the ‘European iTunes Album Chart.’ The title track, “Ice Cream,” made its mark by reaching number one on the iTunes ‘Top Songs’ chart in 10 countries and regions, such as the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Yeonjun’s domestic chart performance was equally impressive. “Ice Cream” immediately soared to #1 on the Bugs real-time chart at 2 PM KST on July 10th, shortly after its official release. The accompanying music video, lauded for its metaphorical portrayal of a relationship characterized by mutual attraction without crossing boundaries, climbed to the #2 spot on YouTube’s ‘Music Video Trending Worldwide.’
