K-pop’s 4th generation top-tier group, Stray Kids, is set to release a new album, applying the successful formula that has firmly established their position.

Stray Kids will release their new mini-album ‘THIS & THAT’ and its title track, also titled ‘This & That’, on August 7th at 1 PM KST.

From the 11th, Stray Kids captivated fans and heightened anticipation by unveiling the first teaser images for their new album concept over four days on their official SNS channels.

The eight members – Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N – showcased Stray Kids’ unique expressive power in their first teasers, creatively interpreting the everyday theme of ‘coffee’. Their group photos also captured the attention of STAY (their fandom name) by twisting conventional compositions with fresh perspectives and member arrangements.

Their agency, JYP Entertainment, has identified bold attempts and challenges as the core growth engines that have propelled Stray Kids to global prominence.

In their previous works, they captivated audiences with diverse album concepts featuring daring styling, such as reinterpretations of traditional attire, long hair, white mascara, and tooth gems. They have successfully forged Stray Kids’ unique musical genre with uncommon sounds and lyrics that are unforgettable once heard, effectively solidifying their identity.

True to their group name, ‘Stray Kids,’ which signifies finding their own path and moving forward, the members actively participate in songwriting to pioneer their unique musical domain, completing the ‘SKZ-CORE’ sound.

Armed with relentless effort and a pioneering spirit, Stray Kids made history as the first artists worldwide to consecutively top the U.S. Billboard main chart ‘Billboard 200’ with eight albums, from their 2022 mini-album ‘ODDINARY’ to their latest release, SKZ IT TAPE ‘DO IT’ in November 2025, all featuring extensive member credits. Their explosive performances have also been a cornerstone in completing their global success formula, elevating the team’s identity to a higher level.

Stray Kids’ record-breaking, self-produced world tour ‘DOMINATE’ — their largest to date with 56 shows across 35 regions, culminating in an October 2025 performance at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium — saw them electrify colossal stadium stages, setting numerous K-pop firsts and career highs. They also dominated as headliners at massive festivals such as ‘Lollapalooza Paris,’ ‘I-Days,’ ‘British Summer Time Hyde Park,’ ‘Lollapalooza Chicago,’ and ‘The Governors Ball Music Festival,’ demonstrating their formidable presence.

With an undeniable winning strategy that combines innovative concepts, self-produced pioneering music, and exceptional stage presence, Stray Kids has solidified their reputation as K-pop’s 4th generation top class, excelling in both album sales and concert metrics – key indicators of K-pop group success.

Riding this wave of momentum, they are poised to achieve both quantitative and qualitative success once again with their new song ‘This & That’. Interest in the new album ‘THIS & THAT’ is intensifying, not only due to high-quality teasing content but also because the group’s producing team, 3RACHA, participated in the creation of all tracks. Five sold-out shows at the Seoul KSPO DOME, beginning July 28th, are expected to further ignite the comeback excitement.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids will embark on a tour of three Latin American regions in September, appearing as ‘global headliners’ at Brazil’s major music festival ‘Rock in Rio’ and their new festival ‘STRAYCITY’, centered around the group.

Stray Kids’ journey shines brightly, as they have continuously grown and solidified their success formula over eight years since their debut, leading not only JYP Entertainment but the entire K-pop industry, and writing new history in the global music market.
