Rapper BewhY has announced the cessation of operations for his one-man agency, Dejavu Group.

On the 1st, BewhY shared a lengthy post stating, “It has already been 10 years since I started making music and rapping. During this time, I ran tirelessly with the conviction that I could do it. Even when I had nothing, I stood before you with that belief alone, and ultimately, I experienced success. That experience made me confident, and I believed that the path I chose would always be right. However, life did not unfold as I expected.”

BewhY continued, “Many things, from business and human relationships to my inner convictions, unfolded very differently from the direction I had envisioned. My errors and mistakes multiplied, and I didn’t want to admit it. The moment I admitted it, I would have to face the fact that my choices were foolish and wrong, and I feared that the label ‘failure’ would follow.”

BewhY then declared, “However, now I will face it. I have failed. I have clearly understood my limitations and decided to let go of the things I was obsessed with. I am ceasing the activities of my label, Dejavu Group, which I established in 2017.”

He added, “This decision was by no means easy, and all responsibility rests entirely with me. Furthermore, I extend my gratitude to the artists who trusted me and joined me. I sincerely thank everyone who has watched over and supported Dejavu Group, and at the same time, I apologize.”

BewhY officially began his music career in 2014 with the single ‘Waltz’. He later gained significant attention as a rapper after winning Mnet’s ‘Show Me The Money 5’. After appearing in ‘Show Me The Money 3’ and ‘Show Me The Money 4’, he clinched the victory in ‘Show Me The Money 5’. He then founded his one-man agency, Dejavu Group, and pursued an independent path, releasing numerous singles and albums, including his first full-length album ‘The blind star’ and second full-length album ‘The Movie Star’. Subsequently, BewhY appeared as a producer on ‘Show Me The Money 9’ and also performed on ‘Show Me The Money 12’.

BewhY’s Full Statement

Hello, this is BewhY.

It has already been 10 years since I started making music and rapping.

During this time, I ran tirelessly with the conviction that I could do it.

Even when I had nothing, I stood before you with that belief alone,

and ultimately, I experienced success.

That experience made me confident,

and I believed that the path I chose would always be right.

However, life did not unfold as I expected.

Many things, from business and human relationships to my inner convictions,

unfolded very differently from the direction I had envisioned.

My errors and mistakes multiplied,

and I didn’t want to admit it.

The moment I admitted it,

I would have to face the fact that my choices were foolish and wrong,

and I feared that the label ‘failure’ would follow.

However, now I will face it.

I have failed.

I have clearly understood my limitations,

and decided to let go of the things I was obsessed with.

I am ceasing the activities of my label,

Dejavu Group, which I established in 2017.

This decision was by no means easy,

and all responsibility rests entirely with me.

Furthermore, I extend my gratitude to the artists who trusted me and joined me.

I sincerely thank everyone who has watched over and supported Dejavu Group,

and at the same time, I apologize.
