Geonho, a member of boy group CORTIS, has sustained an injury.
On the 15th, agency BIGHIT MUSIC (HYBE) announced on a fan platform, “Geonho recently visited the hospital for treatment after falling and bracing himself with both hands incorrectly. Examination results confirmed fractures around the pinky fingers of both hands. He promptly received necessary treatment and measures and is currently recovering steadily. However, medical staff advised that to protect the injured area and ensure a quick recovery, he must wear casts and braces for the time being and minimize strenuous movement of both arms.”
Accordingly, Geonho plans to flexibly manage his future schedule, prioritizing the medical staff’s advice and his recovery.
First, during the ‘2026 CORTIS TOUR 〈PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN〉 IN INCHEON’ concerts on the 18th and 19th, Geonho will perform on stage without choreography, in a manner that minimizes arm movement.
Furthermore, participation methods for future festivals and scheduled activities will continue to be closely discussed with medical staff, and adjustments are expected to be made to avoid straining the injured area.
Geonho also personally spoke about his injury, expressing his regret. He stated, “I apologize for causing so much worry, as I know many of you must have been surprised. I will take responsibility and dedicate myself to treatment, striving to return to a healthy state as soon as possible.”
He continued, “The upcoming ‘Put Your Phone Down’ tour is CORTIS’s first tour, and I really wanted to show you all five members performing together. My desire to participate was very strong. Although I cannot participate in the choreography with my members, I will do my best to present a wonderful stage with them within my capabilities.”
