K-pop sensation ATEEZ once again proves their global ‘World Class’ status.
The track ‘NASA’ from ATEEZ’s (Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, Jongho) 13th mini-album, ‘GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4,’ released on February 6th, has garnered significant attention by being featured as the background music on the official social media channels of the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the government agency established in 1958 to advance American space development programs.
Recently, NASA set ATEEZ’s ‘NASA’ as the background music for a post related to the Artemis II mission. Launched from the Kennedy Space Center on April 1, 2026, the Artemis II mission aims to complete a 10-day free-return trajectory around the Moon and return to Earth, carrying NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen. This historic mission marks the second flight of the Space Launch System (SLS) and the first crewed flight of the Orion spacecraft, representing the first human mission beyond low-Earth orbit since Apollo 17 in 1972.
ATEEZ’s leader, Hongjoong, responded to the post with a ‘heart’ (like), a sentiment echoed by countless ATINY (ATEEZ’s dedicated fanbase) who are also engaging with the post.

This isn’t the first time NASA has acknowledged the K-pop group; back in February, the U.S. space agency also made headlines by referencing lyrics from ATEEZ’s ‘NASA’ upon its initial release.
Beyond ATEEZ’s ‘NASA,’ the National Aeronautics and Space Administration frequently selects songs by other world-renowned artists, such as Coldplay’s ‘A Sky Full of Stars,’ as background music for their posts, highlighting the prestige of being featured.
Meanwhile, ATEEZ recently concluded their ‘In Your Fantasy’ World Tour and continues to be highly active with a robust global presence, reinforcing their influence across the international music scene.
