Lim Young-woong’s Fans Donate 140 Sacks of Rice in Sokcho, Goseong, Yangyang for 10th Debut Anniversary
Singer Lim Young-woong’s devoted fans are spreading positive influence through heartfelt rice donations to their local community.
On July 8th, the ‘Heroic Era Yeongbukbang’ fan club, representing Lim Young-woong’s supporters from Sokcho, Goseong, and Yangyang, visited Sokcho City Hall to donate 140 sacks of rice.
The generous donation, valued at approximately 5.11 million Korean Won (KRW), comprises 140 sacks of 10kg rice. These provisions are earmarked to support vulnerable populations, including disability organizations and facilities within the Sokcho, Goseong, and Yangyang areas.



This meaningful donation was a collective effort by 21 members of the Yeongbukbang chapter, voluntarily organized to celebrate Lim Young-woong’s 10th debut anniversary. The Yeongbukbang chapter has consistently initiated charitable activities for marginalized communities, marking this as their fourth consecutive year of such philanthropic endeavors.
A representative from Heroic Era Yeongbukbang commented, “As we celebrate Lim Young-woong’s significant 10th debut anniversary, we sought a tangible way to assist our neighbors in need, which led us to organize this rice donation. While it may be a modest contribution, we sincerely hope it brings comfort and hope to the disability organizations and vulnerable residents of the Sokcho region.”
An official from Sokcho City expressed profound gratitude, stating, “We deeply appreciate the members of Heroic Era Yeongbukbang for channeling their admiration for a popular cultural artist into such warm-hearted compassion for our local community. We pledge to carefully deliver this donated rice, reflecting the precious intentions of its donors, to those neighbors and facilities most in need.”
It’s also noteworthy that Lim Young-woong’s overarching fan club, ‘Heroic Era,’ consistently engages in widespread donation and volunteer efforts throughout South Korea.
