Lee So-na Wins Miss Trot 4, Husband Kang Sang-jun, National Gratitude

Lee Soona, the winner of ‘Miss Trot 4’, shared her heartfelt feelings after winning the competition. Read on to learn more about her emotional journey and her husband!

On March 7th, Lee Soona posted a lengthy message on her Instagram, stating, “The long journey has come to an end, and I am now writing this message of gratitude.”

She expressed, “I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all the people across the country who have watched my performances and given me warm encouragement. ‘Miss Trot 4’ was not only a development for me as a singer, Lee Soona, but also a healing experience for me as a person.”

She continued, “I was afraid and worried when I revealed the wounds I had been hiding since I was a child. I feel that my long-frozen heart is melting because so many people sincerely supported me and my family and shed tears with me. I believe my mother will also become healthier.”

Lee Soona stated, “I have received so much love through ‘Miss Trot 4’, and I believe that this is not solely due to my abilities, but rather the result of the warm hearts of those who wanted to help. This has given me a greater sense of humility.”

She added, “I am well aware of my many shortcomings. I will strive to become a singer who walks the right path. Once again, I bow my head in sincere gratitude to all the people across the country who voted for me.”

Meanwhile, Lee Soona won the title of “Jin” (the highest prize) on the TV Chosun survival program ‘Miss Trot 4’, which ended on March 5th, and became the recipient of a prize money of 300 million won (approximately $225,000 USD). It was also revealed that her husband is actor Kang Sang-jun, which garnered significant attention. The couple married in 2021 after dating for seven years.

Kang Sang-jun shared on his SNS, “I’ve always wanted to see this scene at least once in my life. Thank you so much for allowing me to see it. Everyone worked so hard.”
