Longest Charting Song by a 4th Gen K-Pop Girl Group Released in 2025
LE SSERAFIM continues to shine globally, maintaining its position on the Billboard charts for 15 consecutive weeks.
LE SSERAFIM’s (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) single, ‘SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS),’ ranked 147th on the ‘Global 200’ and 83rd on the ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ Billboard charts (dated February 14th). This song has remained on the charts for 15 weeks, achieving the longest charting record among 4th generation K-pop girl group songs released last year. These charts rank songs based on online streaming and digital sales from over 200 countries/regions worldwide, highlighting LE SSERAFIM’s significant global influence.
LE SSERAFIM has also achieved significant success in Japan. The single ‘SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)’ topped the latest Oricon chart’s ‘Weekly Single Ranking’ (aggregation period: February 2nd – 8th). This marks the first time in three years that a foreign female artist has reached the top of this chart.
‘SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS),’ released in October of last year, has been nominated for ‘Best K-Pop Song’ at the ’23rd Korean Music Awards.’ The nomination itself is meaningful, considering the Korean Music Awards’ emphasis on artistic value and achievement. The selection committee commented, “This song simultaneously enhances its unconventionality and popular appeal. The addictive hook, led by a catchy beat and rhythm, along with witty and playful rap and vocals, add to the listening enjoyment.”
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM successfully concluded their first world tour with ‘LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘EASY CRAZY HOT’ ENCORE IN SEOUL,’ held on January 31st and February 1st. They performed a total of 31 shows in 20 cities across Korea, Japan, Asia, and North America. This world tour garnered attention for its well-crafted setlist, the members’ tireless energy, and their overwhelming performances. LE SSERAFIM is also scheduled to deliver a fantastic performance at Japan’s largest music festival, ‘Summer Sonic 2026,’ held from August 14th to 16th.
