K-pop group KEYVITUP shares insights into their role models.
On the afternoon of April 8th, KEYVITUP held a showcase at NOL Theater in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their debut first EP album, also titled ‘KEYVITUP’.
During the event, Rookia named Kim Jaejoong as his role model. He explained, “My parents were big fans, so I watched him a lot. At that time, I only thought he was cool, but as I prepared for my debut, I realized how incredibly difficult live performances are. I truly admired how well Kim Jaejoong sunbaenim performs live. He also manages himself so impeccably, making him an amazing role model for us.”
Sena chose global K-pop sensation BTS. She stated, “Jimin sunbaenim (senior artist) is vocally outstanding, and I’ve always admired his dedication and hard work.”
Jaein shared, “Whenever I watch Seventeen sunbaenim, I feel they truly enjoy and have fun on stage, which inspired me to pursue my dreams.” Hyunmin named “NCT WISH’s Sion sunbaenim. I aspire to emulate his performance style.” Taehwan revealed, “RIIZE’s Sohee is my role model. As a main vocalist who truly loves singing, I was captivated by how happily he performs not just singing, but dancing too.”
Meanwhile, KEYVITUP’s first EP album, also titled ‘KEYVITUP,’ will be released on various music streaming platforms on April 8th at 6 PM KST.
