BTS’s Jungkook continues his reign as the “Sold Out King,” proving his immense popularity and influence with yet another series of sold-out items.
Jungkook’s “Orchid” version of BTS’s 5th full-length album, “ARIRANG” LP, is experiencing a global sell-out phenomenon across various music platforms.
The “Orchid” LP quickly sold out on Weverse Shop USA and the BTS Store. Its popularity extends to Canada, with a sell-out at Sunrise Records. European fans have also shown their unwavering support, with the album selling out at FNAC (France), HMV (UK), Golden Disc (Ireland), iMusic (Denmark), and Media Markt (Germany). This impressive feat solidifies Jungkook’s title as the “Sold Out King.”

Previously, Jungkook’s “Orchid” LP achieved the first 4th sell-out among all members at Target, a major US retailer, proving its high sales power. It also sold out during the 3rd pre-order on the Chinese e-commerce platform PINKY, and was the first to sell out at the European K-pop shop ipurple and Australia’s iHeartPopAus.
Beyond albums, Jungkook’s cover magazines have also been flying off the shelves. The individual and set versions of ‘ELLE’ (9 versions), ‘Rolling Stone’ Korea, and ‘The Neighbor’ magazine have all been completely sold out on Weverse Shop.
Jungkook’s album “GOLDEN” was recently ranked 20th on the ‘Top 20 Albums with the Most Powerful Hits of the 2020s.’ This is a unique achievement for a K-pop solo artist, marking it as the 20th most successful album released in the 2020s.
Jungkook has reached 10.57 billion streams combined across all credits on his personal Spotify account. This is the ‘shortest’ record for an Asian singer and the ‘first’ for a K-pop solo artist. Furthermore, Jungkook surpassed 20 billion streams for the first time as a K-pop solo artist on global on-demand audio streaming, demonstrating his status as a global pop star.
