BTS’ J-Hope celebrated his birthday (February 18th) by donating a total of ₩350 million, spreading positive influence.
J-Hope donated ₩200 million to Asan Medical Center in Seoul. These funds will be used to improve treatment facilities and the medical environment for pediatric and adolescent patients, support home medical care for seriously ill children, and operate psychological healing programs. Through the ChildFund Korea, he also donated ₩100 million in scholarships for his alma mater’s students.
His donations also extended to animal welfare. Adding personal funds to the proceeds from the ‘HUMAN HOPE: A JOOPITER Special’ collaboration product auction with HUMAN MADE, he generously donated ₩50 million to animal protection organizations. The donation will be used to support the activities of ‘Animal Rescue 119’ and ‘My Beloved Baduk-i with Pets.’
Through his agency, Big Hit Music, J-Hope stated, “I am grateful to be able to make meaningful donations on my birthday. I wanted to provide even a small amount of help to children receiving treatment, students pursuing their dreams, and animals in need of protection. I was able to do good deeds thanks to the ARMY (fandom name) who always send me so much love and congratulations. I hope that 2026 will be a hopeful and warm year for everyone.”
Meanwhile, J-Hope has been consistently practicing sharing, having donated a cumulative total of ₩500 million to Asan Medical Center. He has also been named to the ‘Green Noble Trinity Club,’ a group of ultra-high-value donors with cumulative donations of ₩1 billion or more at ChildFund Korea.
