IVE wraps up their promotions with outstanding achievements!
Girl group IVE (comprising members An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, and Lee-seo) concluded their activities for their 2nd full album, ‘REVIVE+’, and its double title tracks, ‘BANG BANG’ and ‘BLACKHOLE,’ with a final performance on SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ on June 8th.
IVE showcased their performances of ‘BLACKHOLE’ and ‘BANG BANG’ on various music shows, including Mnet’s ‘M Countdown,’ KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank,’ MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core,’ and SBS’ ‘Inkigayo.’ Notably, ‘BANG BANG’ achieved back-to-back wins on terrestrial music shows (‘Music Bank,’ ‘Show! Music Core,’ and ‘Inkigayo’), marking a significant end to their promotions. With this comeback, IVE has secured a total of 8 music show wins: 7 for ‘BANG BANG’ and 1 for ‘BLACKHOLE’, showcasing their dominant performance.
Through this comeback, IVE successfully demonstrated both an expanded narrative and a wider musical spectrum. Having previously conveyed messages of ‘self-confidence’ centered around ‘I,’ they broadened their perspective to ‘we’ in this album, redefining IVE’s signature narcissism. This approach garnered enthusiastic responses from the public, leading to various achievements. ‘BANG BANG’ topped major domestic music charts, achieving the first Perfect All-Kill (PAK) among songs released in 2026, marking the team’s sixth PAK. It also swept the top spots on major domestic weekly charts.
The response from the global market was equally enthusiastic. Billboard praised IVE’s new album, stating that it “opened a new era that expands the meaning of the name IVE.” ‘BANG BANG’ charted on Billboard’s ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ charts for two consecutive weeks, and the 2nd full album entered the top ranks of the Spotify Global chart, proving the powerful sound of all the tracks.
Through their agency, Starship Entertainment, IVE shared their thoughts: “We put in a lot of thought and worked hard to show a new side of ourselves while preparing the 2nd full album. We think this will be a memorable promotion because DIVE (official fan club name) and many others gave us so much love.”
They added, “We’re so happy to receive first place as a gift for our last broadcast, and we thank you again for loving both ‘BANG BANG’ and ‘BLACKHOLE’ so much. We have a fan concert and world tour coming up soon, so please continue to support us.”
During the two-week promotion period starting on June 26th, IVE presented contrasting charms, switching between the dreamy mood of ‘BLACKHOLE’ and the energetic charisma of ‘BANG BANG.’ In the ‘BLACKHOLE’ stage, IVE used a long table to showcase a performance with a variety of compositions. The ‘BANG BANG’ stage featured EDM sounds and addictive point choreography such as the ‘Keyring Dance,’ ‘Shoulder Dance,’ and ‘Ayaya Dance.’ In addition, the dance challenges with various artists and the use of the songs as background music on SNS gained a lot of love and generated a great response.
Meanwhile, IVE will hold their ‘2026 IVE THE 4TH FAN CONCERT ‘DIVE into IVE” at the Incheon Inspire Arena from June 21st to 22nd to meet with fans.
