The IVE (아이브) phenomenon continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
According to various music charts, IVE (An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Lee Seo)’s pre-release double title track “BANG BANG” from their 2nd full album “REVIVE+” topped the Melon weekly chart (March 2nd – March 8th) for the second consecutive week. Furthermore, it secured the number one spot on the Genie and Bugs weekly charts for three weeks in a row, solidifying its unwavering popularity. IVE also maintained their position at the top of the domestic YouTube Weekly Popular Artist chart (February 27th – March 5th) for four consecutive weeks.
IVE’s presence was also prominent on the Hanteo Chart. They ranked first in the World Chart and Social Chart within Hanteo Chart for February. Additionally, IVE topped the Weekly World Chart (March 2nd – March 8th) and also claimed the top spot on the weekly music chart with “BANG BANG,” proving their solid influence across various indicators.
Previously, “BANG BANG,” pre-released on February 9th, achieved a perfect all-kill (PAK) on major domestic music charts, including Melon, for the first time among songs released this year. This marked their sixth PAK overall.
The success of their 2nd full album was completed by the popularity of both double title tracks. While “BANG BANG” captivated listeners with its EDM sound and addictive performance, the other title track, “BLACKHOLE,” is gaining momentum with its grand cinematic sound and empowering message of hope. “BLACKHOLE” landed at number 5 on the Bugs weekly chart and reached number 11 on Melon, embarking on a long-term run.
IVE successfully concluded their music show promotions with “BANG BANG” and “BLACKHOLE,” winning 8 music show awards. Dominating domestic and international charts and showcasing the ongoing “IVE phenomenon,” they are scheduled to continue their second world tour, “SHOW WHAT I AM,” starting in April across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania.
