The album has once again secured the #1 position on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Albums Global’ for the second consecutive week, a testament to its widespread popularity. This latest achievement covers the streaming aggregation period from May 8th to May 14th.
The album’s impactful title track, ‘SWIM’, also made a strong showing, landing at #3 on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’. Demonstrating its sustained appeal, all 13 vocal tracks from the ‘ARIRANG’ album have now charted for eight consecutive weeks. ‘SWIM’ particularly showcased its enduring success by maintaining a ‘Top 3’ position on the ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart for 56 consecutive days, ranking #3 on May 14th.
The album’s global reach extends to the prestigious UK Official Charts, where ‘ARIRANG’ continued its strong performance. As announced on May 16th, the album secured the #26 spot on the ‘Official Albums Top 100’ for the tracking week of May 15th to May 21st. Beyond the main album chart, ‘ARIRANG’ also ranked #30 on ‘Official Album Streaming’, #25 on ‘Scottish Albums’, #26 on ‘Official Physical Albums’, and #32 on ‘Official Vinyl Albums’. The lead single ‘SWIM’ also charted well, reaching #51 on the ‘Official Singles Top 100’, #41 on ‘Official Singles Download’, and #44 on ‘Official Singles Sales’.
BTS’s ‘ARIRANG’ has also made significant strides on major music charts across Europe and Oceania. On Germany’s official music chart, Offizielle Deutsche Charts, the album impressively entered the ‘Top 100 Albums’ at #6 on the May 15th chart, marking its eighth consecutive week within the Top 10. In Australia, the album reached #7 on the ARIA ‘Top 50 Albums’ chart and #16 on the ‘Top 20 Vinyl Albums’ chart for May 18th. Furthermore, in France, the Syndicat National de l’Édition Phonographique (SNEP) ‘Top Albums’ chart saw ‘ARIRANG’ rise to #8 for the period spanning May 8th to May 14th.

In Japan, BTS’s chart performance on the esteemed Oricon charts also demonstrated an upward trajectory. On the May 18th charts, both the ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking’ and the ‘Weekly Album Ranking’ ascended to #3, improving by two and one spots respectively from the previous week. Looking ahead, BTS is set to make history as the first Korean artists to headline a concert at the iconic Stanford Stadium in the United States, with performances scheduled from May 17th to 18th and May 20th. Following this monumental achievement, in July, the global superstars will join music legends Madonna and Shakira as co-headliners for the highly anticipated ‘2026 FIFA North America World Cup™’ final halftime show, further solidifying their indelible mark on the world stage.
