According to Big Hit Music, the label under HYBE, the ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG” concerts in Goyang on April 11th and Tokyo on April 18th will be available through Live Viewing. Live Viewing allows audiences to gather in theaters to watch concerts, sports events, and more together in real-time.
BTS is embarking on a massive world tour starting April 9th at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium, encompassing 82 shows in 34 cities. The Goyang concert, kicking off the tour, and the Tokyo concert, launching the global schedule, are generating immense excitement among music fans. The Live Viewing offers a way for fans worldwide to share in the tour’s beginning.
This Live Viewing will be held in over 3,500 theaters across 75 countries and regions. Some regions will experience delayed broadcasts due to time differences. The number of participating countries/regions and theaters is expected to increase. In South Korea, it will be shown at major multiplex chains including CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox. Tickets go on sale February 25th at 10:00 AM KST.
BTS has quickly sold out 41 North American and European tour dates, including the Goyang show. They will be the first Korean artists to hold solo concerts at venues like Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Stanford Stadium, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels, Belgium, and Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. They also achieved the highest single-performance occupancy rate at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Meanwhile, BTS will release their 5th full-length album ‘ARIRANG’ on March 20th at 1:00 PM KST. The album, capturing “BTS as they are now,” is expected to resonate with music fans worldwide. From the album’s release date to April 12th, ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL’ will take place. This experiential content combines music and media, with installations blending with the urban landscape set up throughout Seoul.
