Global music sensation BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) has once again demonstrated their unparalleled global popularity, dominating Spotify’s weekly charts for four consecutive weeks with their latest album, ‘ARIRANG’.
According to the latest weekly charts from the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify (charting period April 10th – April 16th), BTS successfully held the top spot on both the ‘Weekly Top Album’ and ‘Weekly Top Song’ global charts. This remarkable achievement marks their fourth consecutive week securing simultaneous No. 1 positions across both album and song categories.
All 14 tracks from their new album have impressively charted on the ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ for the fourth week, unequivocally proving the widespread and consistent appeal of the entire release. The album’s powerful title track, ‘SWIM’, also maintained a top position, ranking 2nd on the ‘Daily Top Song Global’ chart (as of April 16th) for an impressive 28 consecutive days.
BTS’s global impact was further highlighted on the UK Official Charts, announced April 18th. Their 5th full-length album, ‘ARIRANG’, landed at 5th place on the ‘Official Albums Top 100’ (charting period April 17th – April 23rd), sustaining a prominent top-tier position for the fourth week. The title track, ‘SWIM’, climbed to 25th on the ‘Official Singles Top 100’, with another album track, ‘Body to Body’ (90th), also making its way into the rankings. Notably, ‘SWIM’ maintained its No. 1 reign on the ‘Official Singles Download’ chart for four consecutive weeks, while securing 2nd on ‘Official Singles Sales’ and 3rd on ‘Official Physical Singles’.

In Japan, BTS made a significant impact by placing five songs on Oricon’s ‘Weekly Streaming Hot Ranking’ (as of April 20th, charting period: April 6th – April 12th). This impressive feat included ‘ARIRANG’ album tracks ‘2.0’ (1st) and ‘Hooligan’ (3rd), along with a surprising resurgence of the group’s mega-hit songs ‘Butter’ (6th), ‘Dynamite’ (7th), and ‘Permission to Dance’ (9th). With half of the top 10 positions filled by BTS songs, it’s evident that the success of their new releases has reignited interest in their beloved older hits. The group also maintained high ranks on Oricon’s ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking’ (3rd) and ‘Weekly Digital Album’ (4th). On the ‘Weekly Streaming’ chart, ‘SWIM’ landed at 6th, and ‘2.0’ at 7th.
The new album’s consistent popularity extends across Europe and Australia, maintaining a strong chart presence a month after its release. In Germany, the album achieved 2nd place on the Offizielle Deutsche Charts’ ‘Top 100 Albums’ (as of April 17th), holding a premier position for four consecutive weeks. In France, it debuted at No. 1 on the SNEP ‘Top Albums’ and remained at No. 2 for three consecutive weeks (charting period: April 10th – April 16th). On Australia’s ARIA charts (as of April 20th), ‘ARIRANG’ secured 3rd place on the ‘Top 50 Albums’ and an impressive 2nd place on the ‘Top 20 Vinyl Albums’ chart.
Continued dominance is also evident on the Hanteo Chart, where BTS achieved a remarkable ‘Triple Crown’ on the 2nd week of April’s World Chart (charting period: April 6th – April 12th). This signifies their fourth consecutive week topping charts in the United States, Japan, and China. The Hanteo World Chart is a comprehensive aggregation of global data, including album sales, digital music performance, and social portal metrics across various countries and regions, further cementing BTS’s unparalleled worldwide influence.
