K-pop superstars BTS have successfully completed their five-city North American tour, generating an impressive 114.5 billion Korean Won (approximately $76.2 million USD) in total revenue from sold-out performances across every stop.
According to their agency, Big Hit Music, on May 30th, the global phenomenon achieved a complete sell-out for all dates of their highly anticipated North American leg. The tour commenced on April 25th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, USA, and captivated audiences in El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford, and Las Vegas.
Billboard Boxscore data highlights BTS’s monumental success, placing them at No. 1 on the Top Tours chart. The group amassed $76.2 million USD in revenue and sold 417,000 tickets from just eight performances, which included stops in Goyang, Tokyo, and Tampa, among others. Notably, the average revenue per show soared to an astounding $12.1 million USD (approximately 18.2 billion Korean Won), marking a significant 64% increase in earnings compared to their tours in 2019 and 2022.
Looking ahead, BTS is set to connect with their dedicated South Korean fanbase at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12th and 13th. Following their domestic engagement, the K-pop sensation will kick off a European tour on June 26th in Madrid, Spain, before returning to North America in August for a series of stadium concerts, beginning in East Rutherford, USA.
