Global K-pop sensation BTS, featuring members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, has unveiled their most honest and unadorned selves in their latest release.
On the afternoon of the 17th, BTS released additional audio tracks for ‘NORMAL,’ a B-side from their 5th full-length album, ‘ARIRANG.’ These new offerings are a three-part collection, including a new Korean version and an instrumental version. The Korean version of ‘NORMAL’ had previously garnered an enthusiastic response when it was first performed at the ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUSAN’ concert last June.
The original music video for ‘NORMAL’ was also exclusively released on Spotify today. It will be uploaded to various other platforms, including YouTube, on the 19th. The video rawly captures the BTS members’ true selves, hidden behind the glamorous moments on stage. It encapsulates the quiet atmosphere of the moments after peak emotions subside. The visuals portray their fatigued and disheveled daily lives, showing them singing while being drenched in water with clothes on, or lying down with seemingly injured faces, offering a glimpse into their authentic moments.

Traces of an intense party scattered throughout the scenes starkly contrast with the BTS members’ vulnerable appearance the morning after. The camera meticulously portrays the members’ genuine personalities without exaggeration, observing them. This ordinary and honest side of BTS quietly comforts the anxiety and fatigue felt in everyday life, resonating with fans worldwide.
The alternative pop track ‘NORMAL’ previously debuted at No. 41 on the prestigious US Billboard Main Song Chart ‘Hot 100’ on April 4th, impressively remaining on the chart for three consecutive weeks. The seven global K-pop stars powerfully yet calmly conveyed feelings of emptiness and fear that exist behind the spotlight. World-renowned producer Ryan Tedder participated in the production, enhancing the song’s completeness, and its smooth, conversational singing-rap style received critical acclaim.
Meanwhile, BTS is set to perform at the ‘2026 FIFA North American World Cup™’ Final Halftime Show on the 19th (local time) at the New York New Jersey Stadium in the US, alongside pop superstars Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber, further solidifying their status as global music icons.
