BTS member Jungkook’s chart-topping hit, ‘Seven,’ continues its monumental run, solidifying its status as a global sensation with a string of impressive new records.
Jungkook’s much-anticipated first solo debut single, ‘Seven,’ secured the 116th position on Billboard’s ‘Global (Excl. US)’ chart as of May 9. This marks an unprecedented achievement for an Asian solo artist, as Jungkook has now charted for an astonishing 146 consecutive weeks, the longest-ever presence on this prestigious chart. His remarkable consistency further extends his long-term record-breaking streak week after week.

Further demonstrating its widespread appeal, ‘Seven’ claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Vietnam ‘Hot 100’ chart for the week of April 21-27. On the Billboard Korea ‘Global K-Songs’ chart dated May 9, the track secured 21st place, maintaining its chart presence for a cumulative 23 weeks. Additionally, Jungkook’s other solo hits, ‘Standing Next To You’ and ‘3D,’ also continued their impressive runs, ranking 63rd and 71st respectively, each for 23 weeks on the chart. It’s noteworthy that ‘Seven,’ ‘Standing Next to You,’ and ‘3D’ previously all achieved the pinnacle, reaching No. 1 on the ‘Global (Excl. US)’ chart.
‘Seven’ made a historic debut at No. 1 on the Billboard main singles ‘Hot 100’ chart and impressively remained ranked for 15 consecutive weeks. Its global impact was further recognized as it was crowned the No. 1 ‘2023 Global Summer Song’ and designated as the most popular song in over 200 countries/regions worldwide (excluding the U.S.) in the ‘2024 International Power Players.’ On Spotify’s primary chart, ‘Weekly Top Song Global,’ ‘Seven’ has achieved another historic milestone, becoming the first and longest-running song by an Asian solo artist to chart for an incredible 147 consecutive weeks, amassing over 2.92 billion streams.
