BTS’s Jungkook continues to make history in the music industry, cementing his status as a global streaming powerhouse.

Jungkook’s monumental solo debut track, ‘Seven,’ secured the 98th spot on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ chart for the week of May 1-7. This achievement further solidifies his presence on the world’s leading music streaming platform.

Released in 2023, ‘Seven’ boasts an unprecedented 147 weeks on the chart, making it the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist. The track has also achieved a staggering 2.9 billion streams, marking a first for both an Asian artist’s song and any song released in 2023. As of May 15, ‘Seven’ impressively ranks 64th among the most streamed songs of all time on Spotify.

During the same period, Jungkook’s inaugural solo album, ‘GOLDEN,’ also released in 2023, hit number 109 on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Albums Global’ chart. This album has set another record, charting for an impressive 131 weeks, making it the first and longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist. Furthermore, ‘GOLDEN’ recently surpassed an astounding 7 billion cumulative streams on Spotify, solidifying its position as the most streamed studio album by an Asian artist.

Jungkook’s personal Spotify account has cumulatively achieved an astonishing 10.9 billion streams across all credits. This incredible feat establishes him as the fastest Asian artist and the very first K-pop solo artist to reach such a monumental streaming milestone.
