BTS, featuring Jin, kicked off the overseas leg of their ‘ARIRANG’ World Tour at the iconic Tokyo Dome in Japan on April 17th. Jin, often hailed as a ‘visual god’ and now affectionately dubbed a ‘Siren’ for his enchanting vocal tone, delivered an explosive performance. His top-tier visuals, charismatic stage presence, and fantastic live singing ignited thunderous cheers from the packed Tokyo Dome crowd. Jin’s impeccable stage manners and heartfelt interaction with the audience also deeply moved everyone present.

Known globally as both a ‘Visual King’ and ‘Live King,’ Jin’s dreamlike live performance captivated both the audience and fans worldwide. His impact was evident as “seokjin” and “JIN RETURNS TO JINLAND” soared to real-time trending topics on X (formerly Twitter) in the United States and numerous other countries, unequivocally proving his explosive popularity. Jin’s immense global appeal is particularly strong in Japan, earning the country the affectionate nickname ‘Jinland’.
Further attesting to Jin’s top-tier popularity, a store located next to Tokyo Dome was entirely decorated with posters and photos of Jin, who is a model for Lucido-L, right from its entrance. Inside, the store was also filled with images of Jin promoting Lucido-L, alongside photos of other members advertising various Japanese products, eliciting enthusiastic cheers from devoted fans.

Remarkably, among all the BTS merchandise available, Jin’s goods (such as pickets) sold out the fastest among all seven members. Jin’s merchandise was completely out of stock by as early as 11 AM, showcasing his overwhelming demand and powerful fan base.
BTS is set to continue their ‘ARIRANG’ World Tour with a second performance at Tokyo Dome on April 18th. The BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG’ is making history as the largest K-pop tour ever, with its highly anticipated US leg kicking off in Tampa on April 25th.
