BTS’s Jimin continues to set new records on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, showcasing his immense global popularity.
Jimin’s second solo album, ‘MUSE,’ surpassed a total of 4 billion streams on Spotify as of May 17th, achieving this milestone in just 668 days since its release. This marks the shortest time for any Korean album to reach this figure, and it is the first and only Korean solo album to achieve 4 billion streams on Spotify.
Previously, on May 12th, Jimin’s personal Spotify profile surpassed 6.8 billion streams from 22 pure solo songs without any collaborations. This is the first and only such record for a K-Pop solo artist. Out of the 8.3 billion total streams from 34 songs on his personal profile (including collaborations), over 80% – a staggering 6.8 billion streams – comes from his pure solo tracks alone.

During Jimin’s military service, the title track ‘Who’ from his second album ‘MUSE’ charted for 33 weeks on the U.S. Billboard ‘Hot 100’ and currently boasts over 2.41 billion streams on Spotify. Furthermore, Jimin’s ‘Like Crazy,’ which made history as the first Korean solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100, has recorded 1.45 billion streams. Both tracks continue their impressive performance as solo songs, without collaborations with famous international artists.

Meanwhile, Jimin is currently embarking on a world tour. On May 19th (local time), Jimin concluded BTS’s final local performance at Stanford Stadium in San Francisco before heading to Las Vegas.
