BTS’s Jimin continues to shine in his solo career with long-running success on the Billboard charts.
According to Billboard, the title track “Who” from Jimin’s second solo album ‘MUSE’ has charted for 83 weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart.
“Who,” which has topped the Billboard Global Excl. US chart twice, is the first and only K-pop solo song to spend 83 weeks on the chart.
Jimin’s first album ‘FACE’ title track “Like Crazy” is the second-longest charting K-pop solo song on the same chart, staying for 68 weeks. This is particularly significant because both songs achieved this success solely through Jimin’s solo capabilities, without collaboration with famous Western artists.
Looking at the overall records of Korean artists on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, Jimin surpassed BTS’s collaboration with Coldplay, “My Universe,” and achieved the fifth-longest charting song.
Meanwhile, Jimin’s second album ‘MUSE’ has charted for 84 weeks on the Billboard World Albums chart, continuing its long-term popularity and extending its record as the longest-charting K-pop solo album on the chart each week.
