BTS’s Jimin electrified Tokyo Dome with his flawless vocals and captivating stage presence.
The “BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’ in Japan” concerts, held at Tokyo Dome on the 17th and 18th, concluded successfully. Jimin especially impressed the audience with his stunning visual, showcasing longer blonde hair than seen at the Go-yang concert, reminiscent of a character from a comic book.
Jimin, who previously earned witty praise from netizens at the Go-yang concert – the first stop of the ‘Arirang’ World Tour – with his “CD-swallowing” vocals, leading to comments like “pull Spotify out of his throat,” particularly filled Tokyo Dome with explosive high notes during “Fire,” even amid the intense choreography and moments of heavy breathing.

On the first day, during the impromptu performance of the Japanese song “Crystal Snow,” Jimin delivered a heartfelt performance with beautiful vocals befitting his “stardust vocals” moniker, receiving enthusiastic cheers. Social media was flooded with praises like “This is a youth film” and “heavenly vocals,” with phrases such as “SILKY VOICE JIMIN” trending in real-time.
Furthermore, on the second day, performing “Dope” (쩔어), Jimin perfectly recreated the iconic performance from over a decade ago with his characteristic sharp movements and nimble footwork, shining brightly with the aura of a true “stage master.”

Meanwhile, over the two days of the concert, Jimin deeply moved his Japanese fans by reading a heartfelt letter he had written in Japanese, conveying his sincere feelings after eight years, creating an emotional, almost “analog” atmosphere. In the letter, Jimin expressed his joy, saying, “I am truly happy to meet you all again after such a long time,” and “It is all thanks to you that I could return to Tokyo Dome after eight years. I am sincerely grateful.” He also left a surprising spoiler, asking, “Though these two days have passed in the blink of an eye, is today truly the last day?”
