Global sensation BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) has illuminated their global presence with unparalleled success on Spotify for their album ‘ARIRANG’.
According to Spotify’s latest weekly chart data for April 24th – April 30th, BTS’s ‘ARIRANG’ secured the #2 spot on the ‘Weekly Top Albums Global’ chart, maintaining a top-tier position for six consecutive weeks. The title track, ‘SWIM,’ climbed one spot from the previous week to reach #2 on the ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ chart. All 14 tracks from the new album have charted for six weeks straight, showcasing the album’s widespread popularity. ‘SWIM’ also ranked #2 on the ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart on April 30th, maintaining a ‘Top 3’ position for 42 consecutive days.
Released on May 2nd, ‘ARIRANG’ claimed the #17 spot on the UK Official Charts’ ‘Official Albums Top 100’ for the May 1st – May 7th period, holding its position for the sixth week since its release. ‘SWIM’ secured #41 on the ‘Official Singles Top 100.’ Furthermore, it ranked #22 on ‘Official Singles Downloads,’ #29 on ‘Official Singles Sales,’ and #22 on ‘Official Album Streaming.’ The album also saw a significant jump of 8 places from the previous week to #12 on ‘Official Physical Albums’ and re-entered the ‘Official Vinyl Albums’ chart at #18.
The album also maintained a top 10 position in Australia and France for the sixth consecutive week. The new release secured #7 on the Australian ARIA ‘Top 50 Albums’ chart dated May 4th. In France, it ranked #9 on the SNEP (Syndicat National de l’Édition Phonographique) ‘Top Albums’ chart for the April 24th – April 30th period.
In Italy, the FIMI (Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana) awarded ‘ARIRANG’ a ‘Gold’ certification for sales exceeding 25,000 units during the 17th week of 2026. Spain’s official music sales site EPDM also granted a ‘Gold’ certification for over 20,000 units sold. The SNEP in France further certified the album ‘Platinum’ for sales equivalent to 100,000 units, combining physical album sales, downloads, and streaming conversions.
In Japan, ‘ARIRANG’ reclaimed the #1 position on Oricon’s ‘Weekly Digital Album Ranking’ for the chart period of April 20th – April 26th (dated May 4th), after five weeks. The album has consistently remained in the ‘Top 5’ for six consecutive weeks since its initial entry at #1 on March 30th.

On the ‘Weekly Streaming Surge Ranking,’ ‘Crystal Snow,’ a track from their 2017 8th Japanese single album, soared to #1. ‘MIC Drop,’ also released the same year, charted at #8. This surge is attributed to the impact of their concert held at Tokyo Dome on April 17th-18th. Additionally, the new album track ‘2.0’ secured #10 on the ‘Weekly Streaming Ranking.’
Meanwhile, BTS is currently embarking on their ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN NORTH AMERICA,’ which kicked off in Tampa, USA, on April 25th (local time). They are scheduled to perform at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso on May 2nd-3rd. Local authorities and organizers anticipate an economic ripple effect of approximately 110.5 billion Korean Won from these concerts.
