BABYMONSTER Comeback Confirmed: May 4th, “SHEESH” Teaser Released

Girl group BABYMONSTER is set to make a comeback on May 4th.

Their agency, YG Entertainment (YG), announced on the 30th through their official blog that BABYMONSTER’s 3rd mini album, ‘CHOOM,’ will be released on May 4th at 6 PM KST.

This comeback has been officially confirmed following the 2026 YG PLAN previously announced by YG’s executive producer, Yang Hyun Suk. A motion teaser providing a glimpse of the new mini album’s concept was also released.

The teaser video features a racing car speeding with a powerful beat. The ‘CHOOM’ logo is clearly revealed on its trajectory, drawing attention.

Specific details are still under wraps, but as executive producer Yang Hyun Suk has previously teased it as “a new album unlike anything seen before,” anticipation is mounting about what transformation BABYMONSTER will showcase this time.

YG stated, “The 3rd mini album ‘CHOOM’ captures the thrilling moments of becoming one through music and dance, as the title suggests. We put our heart and soul into working on it so that you can feel BABYMONSTER’s expanded musical spectrum throughout the entire track, led by the title track of the same name. Please look forward to it.”

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is holding a 2nd-anniversary debut event called ‘MONSTIEZ DAY’ at The Same Hapjeong, Myeongdong, and Insadong branches in Seoul for a week from today until April 5th.
