During the final performance of K-pop sensation Super Junior’s three-day Seoul concert series at the KSPO Dome, an incident occurred resulting in fan injuries. According to the group’s agency, the accident unfolded when member Ryeowook approached the audience during an encore song. Fans surged forward in response, causing a safety fence in the seating area to collapse. This concert was a significant part of their “Super Show 10” world tour, commemorating Super Junior’s remarkable 20th anniversary since their debut.
SM Entertainment confirmed that the injured fans received immediate medical attention, being transported to a hospital where they were treated for sprains and bruises. Doctors advised two weeks of rest for those affected.
In an official statement, the company expressed deep remorse, stating, “We deeply apologize to those affected and their families.” Emphasizing their commitment to fan safety, SM Entertainment added, “As the organizer, we take full responsibility and will ensure thorough safety checks to prevent similar accidents in the future.”
